Challenge yourself on a vertical cliff while professional guides care for your safety.
At the end of the day, relax with good food, drinks and company.
This is a trip focused on adventure, fun, and thrills. From our base in the Rhone Valley, we will choose different Via-Ferrata to stretch and challenge the group and ensure that there is plenty of time for cheese, wine and chocolate (or ice cream).
Our experienced guides will teach you along the way as you venture into the vertical realm. Your safety is our number one priority.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We had a brilliant weekend on this trip with Tom and Paul as our guides. Both are clearly very experienced, and we were in safe hands the whole weekend. In addition, they were both wonderful hosts and gave us lots of information about the area. They were able to assess our group’s capabilities and take us on via Ferrata routes that were well suited to everyone’s abilities. We climbed in a gorge next to a waterfall, up to a cave and were treated to the most spectacular views. To top it off, the food at the accommodation was delicious. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend this trip to anyone who’s keen on an adventure! (Petrune June 2024)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️After a short flight from London and a 2 hrs train trip from GVA looking at the lakes and mountains along the way, I arrived at Martigny train station, which was the pickup point for the adventure. Tom, our guide, greeted me and 3 others with a big smile (half the group) and took us to our accommodation just a short drive away. It is a lovely hostel/campsite set up with fabulous food, a pool, crazy golf and friendly staff. After dinner, we were introduced to our Via Ferrata equipment and tried it on for size. We all retired for an early night.......for an early breakfast the next day and a short trip to the first VF. Steve, another guide, was introduced to us, and we all headed for the bakery for our lunch baguette. This was my first VF, and I absolutely loved it. I travelled on my own and enjoyed meeting new people. Everybody was very friendly, and for many of them, it was their first VF too. Thank you, Tom and Steve from Alps Adventures, for making it possible. I hope to do more in the future and will get my own kit. (Greg Aug 2022)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Well, where do I start? I was met by our guide Tom at the train station promptly as promised. He is very friendly while remaining professional. We (myself and the rest of the group) where transported to the accommodation - which was outstanding - settled in and shown to the pool. After a swim and time to get ready we all ate dinner together, again guys honestly, the food is exceptional. (3 course meal) We where given our Via Ferrata equipment and instructions on how to use it, before retiring the the night. The next morning, prompt and in great spirits we were transported, in 2 groups by Tom and Steve - another first-class guide - to a local bakery to collect lunch to take, then onto the first VF. This was my very first ever Via Ferrata, and my first experience of such a trip alone abroad. I got so much more than I expected out of the trip, I'm completely hooked and can't recommend this high enough. I have struggled to find the words to express how amazing the experience has been. Thank you Skyhook for putting me with Alps Adventures.ch would give a 10 star review if possible. (Mandy Norton August 2022)
We will meet you at MARTIGNY train station at 5 pm. Then transfer to the accommodation for a sumptuous Swiss dinner to meet and get to know the rest of the group and the guides. You'll also get an initial briefing and instructions on how to use equipment safely.
