What our customers are saying:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Snowshoeing the Great St Bernard Pass

Alps Adventures have created the most amazing trip! Three days of snowshoeing, a stay at the Great St Bernard hospice, visits to a Christmas market and a laiterie for local delicacies and finishing it all up meeting some beautiful cuddly St Bernard dogs. Tom and his team of guides are great, so full of knowledge and fun! (Helen December 2023)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our guide Tom, was knowledgeable, interesting and funny. The trip was just amazing, helped by the fact Tom made everyone feel included and brought the whole team together, regardless of age or ability.  Dinner with monks was an experience, the cheese factory was fun, and cuddling the dogs was awsome. (Ben December 2023)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Loves the trip. The guide, Tom, is very experienced and looks out for you. He made sure that each of us are well taken care of, comfortable and confident with our heads, and feels engaged. Tom highlighted many interesting sights and stories along the way which enhanced the experience, learning about the landscape and wild lives around. Highly recommended to someone thinking of exploring the journey to St. Bernard monastery, or simply trying snow shoes hiking for the first time! And the bonus (if you are lucky), to taste some yummy home baked flapjack cakes. (Jenny December 2022)

Excellent trip all round. Fantastic route, amazing scenery - perfect combination of huts and food and good company. Tom was a great guide and I would recommend this tour to anyone - some challenge but very rewarding all round! Thank you !

A fantastic trip and a must for people wanting something a little more challenging. The hikes are stunning and the huts are fantastic. Our guides Tom and Paul were great. We are already planning the next trip.

This was the first time I had done a hike like this carrying my own gear and staying in mountain huts. The weather and scenery were fantastic and the group of people were wonderful. We did not stop laughing the whole time. Our guide Charles was excellent. He pitched the pace at just the right level for the group and was very knowledgeable about the geology and environment. The food at the huts was much better than I expected as were the facilities. The guidance on what to bring and how heavy your rucksack should be was spot on. The only down side for me was sleeping in a dormitory with so many other people - I'm already a light sleeper so this wasn't conducive to a great nights sleep (despite ear plugs and eye mask), but overall a fantastic experience.

Excellent route taking in the zermatt valley and obviously the matterhorn. The guide tracey was very experiemced, kept us informed and kept it all humorous and the group was great. The refuges were clean and beter quality than expected as was the food. Alps adventures is to be recommended for all their trips....

Just arrived home from the Four day Tour de Mont Blanc with my son. What an adventure! The trip was very well organized and we had Grigor Wallace as our guide. The accommodation and food were great and Grigor was extremely knowledgeable, caring, patient and looked out for the whole group. We had an amazing time and I would highly recommend Alps Adventures, this trip and Grigor. Thank you for this amazing experience!

Just came back from my third trip with Alps Adventures, this time Snowshoe trip to Great Saint bernard. As always, it was a lovely experience, a mix of challange, great people, comfortable beds, clean and well chosen dorms, and delicious food. Our guide Tom took such good care of us, even took extra time to drop a few of us to a quick thermal bath session. I felt safe, connected, exercised, relaxed and learned new things about the region. Snowshoeing is new to me and loved it! Looking forward for our fourth trip with them! Thanks Tom for another great adventure🙏🏼
